No love for fc rebirth?
Hopefully we'll continue to get late pick ranger stuff, we may get something real good a few packs from now.

Lol new pack we really don't have a choice. If you pass prodigy you better have a unfixed signet of might.

Prodigy is nice and I'd probably take it in this case, but there are a lot of good options in that pack so it's iffy. Prodigy only really gets good if you have some powerful spammable high-cost skills, and there aren't that many of those. Is spamming Lava Font around really going to be that important?
Unfortunately, we already have some DoT AoEs, so Binding Chains isn't going to be that much use. Remove Hex and Martyr are both pretty attractive though - removals are gold in any kind of limited play, since conditions and hexes are balanced around removal and there are so many more skills that apply them than remove them.

Even if you don't have a use for it currently, passing prodigy is insane because some one else might have a blinding flash/heal party that really complements it. You need to hate draft this skill.

You have to take Prodigy - I'm not convinced it's the best skill out of that to take, but it combos too well with well just about anything to risk someone else doing that combo.
Aegis, Remove Hex, Martyr, Glyph of Essence and even Weaken Armour are potentials there.
This discussion is all based aroudn the abscence of prodigy.
If we had previously taken Rebirth I'd definately take Glyph of Essence, they combine really well, Martyr and Remove simply because you need to be able to get rid of key hexes/conditions and it's hard to get decent removal. Aegis is just a good piece of pressure reduction and it's unlikely that there are going to be strong counters to it going around. Weaken armour is a bit weird, but we have two OMFG GET THESE OFF ME hexes allready, any extra hexes are unlikely to get stripped and putting this on someone at VoD is really brutal.
Am I missing something here, where did Infuse Condition come from Lightning?

infuse condition was the only leftover pick from the previous round i'm guessing. for this round i'd take ether prod mainly so someone else can't get it and wreck with it...though i'd hate to pass up aegis and martyr
breaking down the current lineup though:
cripshot ranger
healing monk
axe warrior
domination mesmer
fire ele
(another monk but need more skills)
(maybe assassin if skills come up)
(maybe necro if skills come up)

Apply. No contest. Even without Crippling Shot this skill is awesome in Draft. With Crippling Shot it's just insane.

LOL. Win. somebody must've had a really good pick that last pack, and if they're passing poison we're going to get a lot more ranger skills coming.

I'd guess it's a omgwtfpwnage Mesmer skill due to the lack of Mesmer spells.

Yeah, might as well just mark apply as the chosen skill and go on with next pack :P
With how little good stuff the rest of the pack has compared to apply (imo whilring and SoR are 2nd and 3rd best but they're nowhere close), I don't see anyone arguing against the choice unless they're crazy =)

Bflash, second choice would be Conjure Nightmare as you could turn your ele into a degen spammer fueled by Prodigy. This assumes the guy passing you the cards has given up taking more Mesmer skills

Clearly you take flash (prodigy+flash AND cripple+apply? looking pretty good on those characters). Hope for some more air love later on.
I think if flash wasn't there I'd take Aegis, once again for the prodigy combo.
